When Tortoise Capital Advisors LLC outgrew its former office in Leawood's Park Place, the company didn't have to look far for space to house its new headquarters.
That's because it moved just a short walk to the eastern corner of the Park Place mixed-use development. Now, the energy infrastructure asset financing company is the sole tenant of the three-story, 50,000-square-foot building at 5100 W. 115th Place.
Tortoise, which was acquired by Los Angeles-based private equity firm Lovell Minnick Partners LLC in early 2018, employs more than 110 people locally.
