




PARKS PROJECTS

Black Hoof Park
Lenexa, Kansas
This project consisted of the design and construction of four new facilities for the City of Lenexa’s Black Hoof Park. These facilities included a 4,383 SF large shelter, two 520 SF small shelters and a new 1,344 SF restroom facility. Materials included wood, steel and stone, and were chosen to complement the architectural theme of the existing park. The design for the large shelter included a complex steel frame structure that was designed to mimic a tree while complementing the surrounding park.

Theatre in the Park
Shawnee, Kansas
6,000 sf. community-centered pavilion located next to the Theater in the Park within the Shawnee Mission Park, designed to support corporate, family, and community events for up to 250 people.

Gezer Park
Leawood, Kansas
1,100 sf. open-air event structure within a park built to honor Leawood’s sister city relationship with the agriculturally rich Gezer Region of Israel.

Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park
Lenexa, Kansas
Design of 5 structures for social gatherings and special community events within the Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. Structures are composed of varying canopy sizes, along with stand alone public restroom facilities.
