Murphy-Hoffman Company is the largest privately owned, multi-state network of truck dealerships in the country, comprising over 100 locations in 16 states. MHC provides new and used truck sales, full-service truck maintenance repair facilities and part sales.
Dealerships include showrooms, product merchandising, service centers, various driver amenities, parts warehousing, and administrative offices. Nineteen years and 68 projects later, we still have a strong relationship with MHC, and we are currently working on new facilities.

The Kincaid Group sells and operates school buses, organizes bus tours, and provides maintenance for bus fleets. In addition to these core businesses, this building will house several other business groups that support the company’s mission.
The building has approximately 40,000 SF of office on two levels with an additional 34,000 SF of bus maintenance, body shop, and wash bays. There is an extensive outdoor entertaining area, an indoor Bus Showroom, and several spaces geared toward entertaining clients.

Lenexa Fleet
Maintenance Facility
Lenexa, Kansas
Through a design-build partnership, Finkle + Williams designed, developed, and oversaw construction for the new Fleet Maintenance Facility to serve the Lenexa Municipal Services. The new building features 10 work bays capable of servicing all city fleet vehicles, a body shop, weld shop, parts storage and management, employee locker rooms and break room, and administration areas. The facility is a Pre-engineered Metal Building on a cast-in-place concrete stem wall.

Overland Park Fleet Maintenance Facility
Overland Park, Kansas
Finkle + Williams was selected through an RFQ issued by the City of Overland Park to prepare a program and evaluation of the feasibility for the consolidation of Public Works, Parks & Recreation, and Police fleet maintenance services into one centralized facility. The result of the study provided the City with a program of consolidated departments, options for two site procurement and a confirmed budget to include in their upcoming CIP. The City then retained Finkle + Williams and our consultants to complete the design and oversee construction for the 63,000 SF project.
Olathe Fire Station No. 8
& Fire Training Academy
Olathe, Kansas
Olathe Fire Station 8 is a collaboration between Finkle + Williams and TCA Architects in Seattle. The design allows rapid access to the apparatus from all rooms within the building, and features fire poles and a unique double switch-back stair. The building occupies 1.5 acres of the 10 acre site with the balance of the site slated for a city park. The City of Olathe engaged Finkle + Williams to design a Fire Training Facility for the Olathe Fire Department, a 15-acre site that includes an administration building to house restrooms, indoor and outdoor classrooms.

Edwardsville, Kansas
179,000 sf. refrigerated distribution facility designed for increased productivity, lower energy consumption, and improved work environment to help distribute products to over 500 regional restaurant locations more efficiently.
